St. Anthony of Padua Parish

Effingham, a town of roughly twelve thousand people, will play host to the penultimate concert of our Sesquicentennial Tour.  Long ago nicknamed the "Crossroads of Opportunity" because of its location at the intersection of major interstates, Effingham is today distinguished by a 180-ton cross which towers nearly two hundred feet over these crowded thoroughfares.

The Glee Club will perform at the beautiful Church of St. Anthony of Padua - whose parish is, appropriately enough, celebrating its own sesquicentennial anniversary this year!  The Glee Club will also be tasting the rural life with a visit to the nearby village of Farina, population 558 and hometown of Glee Club President Quentin Sedlacek ’08, where local organizers have promised quite the reception.
