Today the Harvard Glee Club descended 650ft below the surface of the earth and explored the Hutchinson Salt Mine Museum. Getting ready for bed after a long first day of HGC Spring Tour 2011. Left Cambridge at 3:30 AM EST and flew out of Boston at 6:00 AM EST ... arrived in Wichita at 12:00 noon CST ... performed in first tour concert at 7:30 PM CST ... and even at 11:00 PM CST, lots of Gleeks are still eating out down the street from our hotel! Hard to believe that so much has transpired in less than twenty-four hours. Tonight's concert was certainly worth the effort. After 12 hours door-to-door, the first group of the Harvard Glee Club is finally in Wichita! A two hour flight delay aside, everything went smoothly. The poor Chem 20 guys who have to take their exam tomorrow morning here at the hotel in Wichita were studying hard. Look out for HGC Lite on the radio at FM B98 at 8:05am today (Fri Mar 11) and on TV, at CBS 12 at 8:48am!
