The Glee Club will kick off the tour with a benefit concert for the Wichita Children's Theater and Dance Center in the 850-person auditorium of Wichita East High School. The community is generously bringing the Glee Club to help support and interact with the local performing arts community - a banquet will precede the performance! Members will stay in historic "Old Town", with many restaurants, galleries, shops, and bars nestled in brick buildings from the turn of the century. Visits to the Kansas Cosmosphere (Smithsonia-affiliated space museum) and the Underground Salt Museum (a working salt mine) are in the works! Life is sweet under the wide open Kansas sky.
