Favorite Marvinism: When I was auditioning for HGC, the form asked for 'experience', so I wrote down that I'd fronted a rock band for 3 years. After I did my scales Jim looked at me, smiling as always, and said, "well you're very good for 'rock band'". I could never figure out whether that was a compliment or not.

I've never been in a choir before but I've been singing since I was old enough to figure out how. There are few things I love more than music, probably only certain people and a really well-made pan of chocolate brownies when I'm hungry. Singing in HGC is a uniquely awesome and incredibly humbling experience for me.
